I worked as a nurse in a state prison. I was told that my unit was one of the more peaceful ones in Texas. There were daily fights and instances of weapons being used at times. There are a lot of gang related assaults that are never reported as that is seen as additional weakness for the victim. See the sites linked below.

you know what is wrong with dropping soap. there is a lot of rape in prison.
and people get stabbed and into fights all the time. It is harder to make weapons in there, but they can still do it.

Hey I guess so anything can happen but that in movie not in real life but if it does then hey and i want try to go there.
dropping the soap is bad for boy's in jail or in high dchool shower if you know what i mean.

I dont' think it is that bad in all prisons, but I don't want to find out.
And Lady Ettejin of Wern, you receive the idiot of the year award. I've seen people misspell the words "two, to, and too", but for you to use it in the same context and spell it differently in the same sentence- they should send you to prison for that.

Prison movies don't show reality. They either show too much or too little. And by God, you don't want to drop the soap, trust me.
And you way down there, thanks for pointing that out. When I type, I just type and who cares about correct grammar. Don't be such a stick-in-the-mud fuddy-duddy.

Um...yeah...and alot of other violent ugly thing happen as well...it's far worse than most people realize...like a living hell you cannot escape from unless you die...it SUCKS!!!
