Ok so my boyfriend and I were together for almost 2 years and he broke up with me 7 months ago and I still miss him. He dumped me for a girl who lives 3 hours away and she is 15 and he is 17. Ive had a few boyfriends but none that I really liked. I would like to talk to my ex but when we broke up he said he wanted nothing to do with me and that hurt me really bad. So Im afraid to talk to him because of what he said back then. We havent talked since we broke up. Do you think there is a chance, like that quote that is talking about letting something go that you love and if it comes back then its meant to be or should I just completely give up. We oscassionally look at each other at school..but I dont know what to do.

Give up, walk away and forget this chump. College is coming. You are about to jump out of the pool and into the ocean. This guy trashed you, why would you want to be with someone who hurt you. Besides, if you ever got back together, do you think what he did to you is going to vanish out of your mind. You are better than this.

Im gonna be brutally honest here, your both young, I got into a long term relationship at your age too and watching my girl grow up in a different direction from me was the most painful thing I've ever endured, it sounds like he's already moved on. I think maybe you should do the same.
I do sympathise though, it's really hard, especially the first time.

There is a chance. Just begin with saying, Hi, how are you doing. That might open the door. He might not feel worthy of you, since he broke up with you and probably will not be the one to start a conversation. Show him you are the same girl he used to care so much for.
