You can if you believe you can. Don't take this as a cliche'. It's all based on symbolism. For instance, during communion at church, we are taught that the wine or grape juice we are taking is the blood of Jesus. It is not real blood, but the symbolism makes us act like it is. The same is true for the Ouija board. It is the symbol of the spirit portal, and therefore your subconscious will make it true. You will unconsciously move the marker and totally believe that it is a spirit.
The same symbolism is true in Wicca. See, during some spells and chants, you are supposed to make a ring of salt on the floor. The salt on the floor is supposed to block evil spirits from invading you or your magik. We do have salt in our bodies, so it would seem that the salt ring would be redundant and useless. It is the symbolism that drives our actions and beliefs.
You can make a Ouija board at home with a pencil and a piece of paper. It will work just as well as the store bought brand. Of course, you can also carve beeds from a block of wood and turn it into a rosary....no difference.

In my experience, the Ouija board is NOT a game. There is a remote chance in the right hands you can contact a specific person after they passed away, although it is highly unlikely. You have a good chance you can channel lost souls, people who have not yet crossed over. In that case you can be unleashing evil and it will come back and bite you in the ***.

Nothing good ever came out of a Ouija Board. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

No you can't channel anyone and anything using it. What you get are demons from hell playing tricks on you. It's an evil board game.

You can channel as much as your imagination will allow. It is you that makes it move, no outside forces. So it will show what you want it to.
