Do you have any tips for getting the best room in a hotel?

I checked in at 12 PM at a 4-star hotel and got a corner room.

From experience, I get a decent room if I checked-in on time.
If you want a good room, it is advised that you call the hotel directly before check-in and state your request. They'll be more than happy to serve you.

no not nesseraly, i went to cuba holguin playa costa verde and we checked in last, and we got the best room with 2 king sized beds, 1 t.v ,mini fridge,bthromm(of course),and 9 hhuge waterbottles
\well i guess its where u go. not when u check in. like go somewhere that has 41/2 stars like holgiun cube playa costa verde.:)
