I live in a primarily well to do neighborhood. I won't find 2 teen boys to rake my yard and clean my gutters. My husband is military, he usually does this stuff but he's not here. Anywaste, today a young guy and his uncle stopped by and asked about my messy yard. I asked him how much, and he sort of asked me how much I thought was fair. My yard is about 30x90ft and it's heavily covered with leaves. They said they'd haul the leaves off for me too. The gutters are standard. I live in a single story 3br house.

So my whole question is, what's a fair price? It's close to Christmas and I can certainly understand someone looking for extra cash.

We have a 3000 square foot house and a four car garage. I pay a fellow $125 to do the gutters on both. So, I tend to agree with those who say $100 to $125 each.

Pay them by the job not the hour. Get a free estimate from a landscaper and go from there. It's a lot of work bagging leaves. Offer a price that will make you feel comfortable.

Well, how much is it worth to you? That is how I always figure it. If what I want to pay is close to what they want to charge, then we have a deal.
There have been MANY times I have paid someone more than they wanted--because their price was just ridiculously low and there is no reason to take advantage of anyone.

I think at least $250 for the complete job, especially since you live in a well-to-do neighborhood. It could even be more than that. especially since he will take the leaves away.

gutters can be tough, and time consuming as well as raking....
depending on the time, I'd say $100 each

Be sure and pay by the job. I wouldn't pay over 50.

8-dollars a hour. 16-dollars a hour for both of them.
