c major 0
g major 1
d major 2
a major 3
e major 4
b major 5
f# major 6
c# major 7
You can always easily work out the key, as the last sharp that is written down will be the 'leading note' in the scale.
So f#, you go up one and the key is g
f#, c#, the key is d
and so on
