I really have my cartilage pierced in a unmarried ear and my business done in the different ear. I were given the cartilage piercing done at the same time as i became 16 with a piercing gun, which turned right into a foul mistake. do not get your cartilage pierced with a gun because it may shatter the cartilage and reason extra discomfort and slower healing time than mandatory. It took months to heal thoroughly. i have had no longer some thing yet worry with my cartilage piercing and that i have had it for 4 years now. It receives contaminated and has also stepped ahead scar tissue. I were given my business done professionally with a needle and it hasn't ever once had a unmarried problem, and in common words damage for sort of a pair weeks once you've it done.

I've had mine for about 5 years now, and I'll be honest....out of having my tongue, naval and nose pierced, the nose hurt the worst. The shop that did my nose used a hallow point needle and forceps (not sure if that's what they're called) to hold my nostril out. It brought tears to my eyes, but after a couple of hours and some tylenol all was better.

Sides doesn't hurt that bad.
Middle hurt like hell but I have a habit of hitting it every morning and after the 5th day it didn't hurt that bad anymore.
I have had both side of my nose, the middle of my nose(septum), Tongue, Eyebrow 3 times, lobes more then I can count, tragus x 2, rooks x2, lip on both sides, monroe, labret 2nd time I did it myself, navel and I think that's all.

When I had it done, it didn't hurt at all. They use a gun like they use to pierce your ear. It's very quick and only gives a slight pressure pinch.

I did mine myself and no it didn't hurt, I was just shocked because of how much it bled. Getting my ears pierced (second hole) hurt a lot more.

No not at all...well sort of...ok, it hurts like hell...but it's over so quickly by the time the pain hits your brain it's already done...well worth the aftershock!

It depends on individual, but for me it didn't hurt as much as the ear lobes. I did it with a gun and it was over fast.
