ACTION/ADVENTURE
"Batman Begins" - darker, truer to source material reboot of the Batman franchise; great performances by Christian Bale and Liam Neeson
"GoldenEye" - Brosnan's first and only good James Bond film; involves an old Soviet space weapon
"Robocop" - look past the violence and you'll see so many thematic layers (what makes us human? satire of 1980s capitalism, etc.)
"Superman Returns" - continues the series where Superman II left off; great performance by Brandon Routh...he's so much like Christopher Reeve that it's downright creepy!!
"X-Men 2" - military general tries to destroy all mutants in a pre-emptive strike; very emotional and epic in scale
HORROR
"The Fog" - Carpenter's 1979 classic (not the crap remake); very moody and atmospheric (no pun intended)
"Jacob's Ladder" - man stalked by demons...saying any more will spoil one of the most affecting, haunting endings on celluloid
"Jaws" - 'nuff said :)
COMEDY
"A Life Less Ordinary" - very bizarre, surrealistic love story involving angels and Ewan McGregor bumbling through kidnapping Cameron Diaz
"Office Space" - if you work for any kind of a company, you can relate!! :)

meet the parents- the awkwardness of a guy meeting his girlfriends crazy parents and all the bad things that happen.
anchorman- just funniness
little miss sunshine- a little girl and her family on their way to a beauty pagent
garden state- a guy who comes back to his home state after his mother dies, really dramatic but great
napoleon dynamite- most random movie ever, always better the second time.

I recommend the Lord of The Rings trilogy. This product has it all, a great plot, interesting characters and lots of action. If you have not already, read the books. That will allow you to fully enjoy the movie.
Enjoy the movies.

If you have not seen it yet,-Domino-directed by Tony Scott starring Kiera Knightly [Rrroooowww...HOTTIE!!!]Mickey Rourke[ok, not so hot but a good actor] and some other cool cats, like Christopher Walken...ultra wicked action and the ending is spectacular...Tony Scott loves blowing the living hell out of everything at the end of all his films...very few survive...AWESOME action film. Get the widescreen version of course...and turn your volume WAY up!!!
