Dont you think that this is way over head?? What can Chappel do if the big three of Indian cricket (Read Sachin, Rahul & Sehwag)fail so consistently?What can Chappel do if they or Dhoni are more interested in modelling than playing for the nation? Or for that matter what authority he has against players who have egos as big as the ducks they score in international cricket?
Chappel can only guide them & believe me he must have tried every trick in the book to get back the winning habit but the players too should make some efforts towards that. Look at the body language of the players during the ODI series, i looked like they knew they that they will lose 5-0 against SA. A coach cannot play on the ground he just can give them inputs, the players have to perform. Remember you can only guide the thirsty towards the well, not force him to drink water. ( Sidhuism)
And Chappel was never removed as Australia's coach because he never was the coach of Australia & he was a legendary batsman hwo could have instilled a killer spirit in the team liike the Australians have. But we have a loser as a captain, i fondly recall the good old days of Ganguly's captaincy when he made S. Waugh wait for the toss.....
Chappel can only be an asset , never a liability.

Chappel will be removed from Indian cricket himself as Ganguly has come into the team. If Ganguly do his best, it will be a slap at the mouth of Chappel and perhaps it will make Chappel to go back to his own country.

Please do not blame Chappel for India's dismal performance. At the end what matters is how players perform at matches and field. The coach can only guide them, but its players who need to click.
India started with bang as chappel as the coach and set a record in ODI being the highest no. of consecutive wins while chasing.
Of late, the players are not performing.
Need to change, please ensure that Indian players need to train on foreign pitches and not docile indian pitches.

Chappell's contract is till WC-2007 and only BCCI can remove him before that !
Greg C is now being considered as one of the candidates to take over as Australian coach as John B is retiring after WC-2007 !!
If he is selected as Aussie coach, he would most likely leave India - so tell Aussie officials to make him their coach !!!

I cant work out why he would want to coach a bunch of crap cricketers anyway but he is the only way the Indian team will get anywhere.

non of the players like greg chapple, though due to pressure the players can not go against chapple,
if saurav ganguly makes runs, in the tests which is a possiblity, then he may gain the test match captanship, that will be enough to remove chapple,
saurav has the power to remove greg chapple and get the captaincy, only thing is the runs, and this time, i feel the runs will come,
saurav ganguly is back, it's party time!!

There are competent people to decide whether Chappel is a good or bad coach and whether he should be removed or retained. We should not break our head on this topic.

You need not to do anything. Our Indian players are doing the same job in South Africa.
