There are so many factors to consider. How far do you live from Kandivli station
how would you travel from your residence to the station
Are you capable of jumping into crowded local trains or would you have to let a couple of trains go before you can find a toehold
The train journey will be around 1 hour
How do you plan to go from Churchgate station to Nariman Point i.e by cab or bus or by foot. Walking takes 20 to 25 minutes.

Kandivali to Church Gate to Nariman Point.

Go from Kandivali to Church Gate by train. (may need to go to Borivali to get more comfortable connection, then to church Gate may be even faster). By cab the traffic will kill you through streets of Bombay and Kandivali.

Take a Cab to Nariman point from there( ten minutes if no traffic).

Time will depend on the Train time table.
