hi,i've got a new latop.Its just got one primary drive.i want to do partition.how to do that?where can i get crack for prtn magic?how to do it?

In this case, i dont think so you need partition magic. Actually, we can creat partition without using 3rd party software. To do so, just go to control panel>system and maintainance>administrative tools>computer management>disk management.
Then, right click at the primary partition>create partition.
Dont worry, there will be a wizard to guide in creating the partition.

xXx advise would be good if the drive was already partitioned. I recently used a free (legal) software called Gparted. They have a Linux LiveCD that you can burn and reallocated drive space and create a partition. Make sure you back up any important data first, as any HD activity such as partitioning can be dangerous.

Will this void your warranty?, or if your hardrive uses a hidden partition for the backup OS, be careful...also, When installing new ,clean ,windows, you have the options of partition setups from your XP disc..for free..
