Came home, parked truck and 3 hours later it would not start. Have had no problems or concerns with it before. Someone mentioned a security lockout. Could this be the case? Any other opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly a bad selinoid. Jump it across from the battery feed. If the starter turns over, you probably have a bad selinoid. Good luck.

If its a security issue the security light will flash on you dashboard. Beyond that I can only speculate.

Could be anywhere in the ignition or starter circuit.

yes and no, it could be the secrity system on your vehicle but you should have a security disable/onstar that will re-start your car. OR it could be something has gone haywire in your elect/computer modules. need more infor as to what it is and isn't doing.

Sounds like a fuseable link. They are inserted in your ignition wiring as an overload precaution.

check your alternator as well, they go out with little or no warning... check your ignition to make sure it is working properly as well..... before yesterday i would never have thought of that, but mine broke and it sucks...
