Michael Richards makes fun of some black people at an un-telvised show, and people get irate. Rosie O'Donnell makes fun of Chinese people on national television, but no one really cares. So, is it acceptable to poke fun at Asians?

It is unacceptable to make fun of anyone in my belief. For any reason. I strive to minister grace and peace to everyone.

I know, huh- Sara Silverman is practicaly famous for making fun of Asians in this one joke she does:

"When i was younger I used the "N" word in my act. Then one night a group came in that was African American- no, I think they were black. I didn't want to use the word, because I feared them. So I changed it to chinks. And you know? It worked just as well."

It's because who knows what blacks will do- both politically and right on the spot. They are way stronger than Asians. While Asians just quietly conquer. It's all wrong. I'm a standup- it's wrong, but you know what? It's also VERY hard to be funny in these PC times.

People have their own standards of what you can make fun. It is not acceptable to make fun of blacks but is acceptable to make fun of whites, Catholics, Hispanics, and Asians. I'm Catholic and Hispanic and don't get offended by those jokes. I wacthed the video of O'Donell and is funny! I think whites are too sensitive about race and they need to loosen up. I'm not into the PC crap.

Its not acceptable to make fun if anybody. Even if Rosie makes fun. She is in the wrong and why lower yourself to her level.

It is if they're your friends and they know that you're just fooling around..But I don't see the difference between us Caucasians and those Asians. We're all part of the world, and we should accept each other. World Peace!!

when the Asians get all irate and cause a big stir about Rosie O'Donnell, then and only then will making fun of Asians be stopped.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease...

Rosie has the gay tolerant liberal trump card that superceeds anything an Asian pressure group can possibly throw at her.

you know how it used to be baa baa black sheep, but now it's baa baa rainbow sheep instead? i guess the town ain't big enough for political correctness and humour. quite frankly, i'd take humour anytime. so feel free to make fun of my squinty eyes and yellow skin. but only if you can make fun of yourself.
