@bambola: I don't think I'll be able to see it. But can you tell me the basic story. I don't know your email id and I also could not contact you via yahoo answers. I know that Diaz and Winset swap lives and Diaz goes to England and Winslet to LA. Then Diaz meets and falls in love with Jude Law, Winslet's brother and Winslet is quite annoyed. Then Winslet herself falls in love with Jack Black. But, Who is Jack Black? Is his charecter related to Diaz? How does it all end?
Just gimme an overview please. I don't have anybody to take me to the movies and my friends have already seen it.

p.s. i just saw that movie "The Holiday" it was really good - i am telling you this because you said that Jude Law was one of your favorite actors and he is in it and looking FINE!!!! lol if you like definately go and see it if you haven't already :)

ok so ya you basically got the story line they swap lives and so on.
Diaz- AMANDA WOODS- very successful woman she lives in this huge house in LA and has a great job. (she is a workaholic who can never bring herself to cry even when she is sad) so dhe finds out that her man slept with his secretary so she kicks him out of her home punches him in the face several times too while she is at it lol. and then she goes to this small town in england for a vacation. the whole movie takes place around christmas :)
winslet: she has been in love with her ex for three years since the have broken up and then she finds out that he is engaged to be married and is devestated so she then switches houses with diaz in LA
while in LA she falls in love with Jack Black who was a friend of Diaz's ex-boyfriend and by the end of the movie they are together and happy:)
as for Diaz she ends up falling in love with winslets brother JUDE LAW (he looks soooooo good in this movie - i had to tell you that, anyways) umm oh ya so they fall in love but jude law is a widower and father of two little girls. but she loves him so much anyways because they are perfect for each other and by the end of the movie they are together.
so it all works out well in the end and it is not clear how they will all have relationships considering that there is the atlantic ocean between them but you are left feeling that it will all work out so ya it was a good movie - too bad you can't go and see it the theatre (its ok though just rent it when it comes out on video)
