No.
Never.
There is no reason why a pub would be a better place to be than a church.
Unless, of course, it were a non-evengelical church, and you were in the pub to spread the gospel.
If I wasn't a Christian though, I would probably agree that a pub was more important, but that is an impossible if.

Well there is a social interaction that is more prevelant in a pub than a church. LOL you could say that the Church "feeds and waters" the soul, and a pub 'feeds and waters' the human side of us.
A side note: During the Irish "Troubles" which was during the time that England had outlawed Catholicism in Ireland there was a pub; the name of it was "Adam and Eve". People would go there frequently to have ale and then go downstairs and in the back there was a Catholic church. After the time where England withdrew the outlawing of Catholicism the area where that pub stood a church sprang up, called "Adam and Eve". So in repect to those Catholic churches that have been and currently are 'underground' a pub is a very important place for reason mentioned above.

Maybe not more important, but in England where you find a church you will always find a Pub either next to it or across the road, and always called The Church Inn.

Bible believing churches are the most important buildings on the earth. It's where people hear God's word. Nothing is more important.

Important to who?
Those who go to church and find happyness and harmony there will find it more important, the same for those who go to pubs.
I don´t go to any, I enjoy the beauty of the forest and sunrise, in these wonders you can find Gods true wondes of creation.
