You can copy/paste text from PDFs to Word, but a lot of the formatting will not come through properly.
You can convert from PDF to Word using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.

Good Luck.

You should always keep one copy of your work in the original format (eg a word doc) and not delete it after you save it as a PDF. The whole point of PDF is that the text can't be copied or altered.
How did you convert it to PDF?

you could copy the text from the pdf into a word doc, otherwise you'd have to have the pro version of acrobat to convert it back and forth.

Copy the text and paste it back into Word (or whatever you
use for editing).
Or use http://www.foxitsoftware.com/ {Better, faster, lighter
and much less expensive than Adobe}
Or use http://www.pdf995.com/why.html {Also better and less
expensive than Adobe}
