They will do whatever their party tells them to do. Their hatred has no rational as most Libs do not even inform themselves on the President's policies.

Considering who the Republicans have available - John McCain, whom I used to like until he became an apologist for the Bush administration and started yelling about sending more troops to Iraq - Rudy Guiliani who has about as much chance of getting elected as I do - and a bunch of no-names that no one has ever heard of - they don't stand much of a chance. However, if one of them were to get elected, I'd make a run for the border - the Canadian border and not look back! And does anyone even know what "traditional" Republican values are any more?

actual they won't be necessary because of fact whom ever takes the White homestead in 08 could have in straightforward terms a 4 year term. Taxes would be raised or new ones created. Make no mistake approximately it. Giving a boot to the 09 adminstration in 13.

Well that depends. If he is a shady little thing like Bush who serves only his corporate masters while pretending to do what is best for america yes I will dislike the President.
If he is like Reagan I will dislike the President. I mean your question all depends on what definition of traditional Republican values are. I really have no problem with a Republican President, I just have a problem with liars who pretend they are acting in the best interest of the country.

Oh but a Republican will not be elected in 2008

Liberal inductees can never except the fact that people vote for anyone without liberal convictions.
This is why liberals cry foul whenever a liberal candidate is defeated in an election.
It is less painful to complain, rather then examine why their views are continually rejected by the voters.

If the republican candidate is in my opinion better then the democrat candidate I will vote for them.
I hate people who think that I am a communist or a Nazi because I don't vote they why that want to to. Instead of figuring out that because I vote the way I choose and please just makes me an American.

No. I may not like their policies, but I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Didn't care for Reagan too much on certain issues, but didn't hate the man.

But if they are an embarrassing boob like Bush, who makes me ashamed as an American, makes us a laughing stock around the globe, then I'll hate their guts!

I absolutely will vote Republican in that election...I think it only fair that a Republican be handed the ball from the (Decider) and let him /her try to undo the horrible mess this administration will have left "TO the next president"..... ( I say to the liberals,,"Want to really do something against the Cons,Vote in a liberal Republican)" Hahahahahahaah....

well - I'm not LIBERAL.

I don't even play one on TV.

But I do know that PART of what makes a LIBERAL a LIBERAL is the real sense that their answer is the CORRECT ONE, and anyone that doesn't believe in what they do is either EVIL or STUPID.

(and this last election, kinda supports their attitude)...

So... yeah IF a Republican DOES get in there, it's because they CHEATED, or LIED, or MANIPULATED the system. NOT because they are the best MAN (or soon Woman) for the job.

Very vague and unspecific.

Do you mean a collosal disaster like Bush?

By traditional American values, do you mean illegally spying on US citizens who have done nothing, declaring the right to dismiss Habeus Corpus? Formally making torture the policy of the US? Funding government-led efforts to evangelicize unwilling recipients?

Or do you mean something like Clinton, where they decided he had to be impeached, then constantly made up crap that didn't pan out until they found something that had nothing to do with the powers of office and didn't break any laws?
