No, the rich will be able to buy genetically manipulated super - human genes giving them god- like kids that will never die and terrrorise the genetically "poor" and underpriviliged "normals".

That only works if only weak men were rich, which is patently false (see Arnold Schwarzennegger, or however you spell his name). Also, you assume that women always marry rich, powerful men, which is also not true. While there are women who require that in a lover, and while power is an aphrodisiac, it doesn't hold true for everyone. See, women are complicated, and there are those of us who feel that, since we can make our own money, we can now concentrate on things like personality. I know, weird, heh?
Also, assuming that rich, powerful men get that way because they're smart, then the human race won't become weaker overall. Brains count for a hell of a lot more than brawn, or else our species would've been eaten by lions millennia ago.

No. You fail to take into account the infidelity factor. If only 1% of births were to be due to infidelity with the physically strong, then that is enough for natural selection to work through positive frequency selection. That is as the preferred genotype goes up, so does it's fitness. You really need to ask these questions in the biology section, where an evolutionary biologist, competent to handle such questions, will see this. Now I will peruse your social science answerer's for some light amusement.

The divorce rate has certainly increased.
Nature gives each species a process to survive. This lies within our gene pool. The "stronger" genes stand the test of time. Having fashionable qualities that are appealing to mainstream society doesn't mean a person has strong genes.
Genes themselves are only physical. We are given many factors that can compensate for the others. A man that has achieved self actualization regardless of finances or physique is an attraction that stands by itself.

Money and status just might invite some men to have their own gym and workout.
Is physical strength enough these days-what about moral strength?
Strength might be a weakness in certain situations and weakness might prove to be a strength.
Survival of the fittest is a term more descriptive of animals in the jungle. What are we so fearful of?

Wealth and status are not products of genetics, humans will not become a weaker race, nor is the term weaker appropriate for an accurate term. This implies that some races or a race in general can be more complexed or superior, but the problem lies in what you would classify as being "superior"

It is almost impossible to answer this question because we need hard numbers to analyze the question and it's future outcome. And those numbers are hard to come by.
But I can make some guesses.
Let me assume you are right. Let me ALSO assume that ALL men with money and status are physically "weaker" compared to the men who lack a financial caliber... Then, Yes, humans will become a weaker race IF ALL women marry richer & powerful men.
But in reality, women love muscularity, financial calibre and many other factors (there is a list of other factors, I'm serious! read "Why men lie and women cry" by Allan & Barbara Pease). And women prefer men with most of those features, if possible all of them, if not possible they are willing to accept other levels of survival.

If they have any sense, and most women do, they will marry the money and status and find a big muscle man to fulfil other needs and therefore father some of the offspring!

mighty large if, but, if the genes of the rich are weak, and no one new gets into money, then eventually the gene pool will be thinning out.
But luckily, money and status only appeal to gold diggers, which are like, hmm, 10-20% of women? the rest would prefer the other guys.

There is a study that suggests that people of lower I.Q. have more sex than those of us with Higher I.Q.s The idiots are taking over. We might not be getting dumber as a whole, but it sure does seem like it.
