Since you are looking at about 30,000 road deaths in Indonesia over the same period, if you are worried about bird flu, you are either a bird or your priorities are a little askew.

Bird flu has the potential to be a major disaster, and it may be a matter of when and not if, but it is not yet an issue except for those involved preparing, and those rare, very rare, unfortunate people infected.

If someone died everytime a "bird flew" we would be in deep doo-doo. It's "bird Flu".
