Depends on the motherboard. It being a Pentium 4, I highly doubt it. Though it may have support for a Pentium D dual core processor. Again, based on the age of your processor (and consequently your motherboard), I doubt very much it will support a Core 2 Duo processor. I think it will definitely not work. But you'll have to check your motherboard to see if it does. Run CPUz, http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php it will tell you various information about your system, including your motherboard and from there you'll have to check it online either with the manufacturer or a search engine.

1st thing u need 2 know is can ur motherboard support that hi of a proccesser that info will be on ur mainboard book but for udated info go to their website.... for instance asus or msi
