When having a massage ( normal swedish massage with oil) what is the correct etiquette if you get embarassed and have an erection. I noticed this sometimes seem to happen almost spontaneously when one's legs, hips or stomach is being massaged.

Particularly if the massage therapist is female, what should i say/do? I dont want to offend them or anything.

We as massage therapist are trained to ignore it. If attention is put on it, then they might think we are interested in that instead of doing our job.

Groin areas are seldom massaged. There are few muscles there but there are sensitive nerves and tendons close to the surface. The side of your hip, like the outside of your but cheek is massaged so it depends on the exact area you are talking about. If in doubt ask before the massage and clarify what you are looking for.

Simply ignore it. Massage therapists are trained, & know this will happen. And remember, what goes up, comes down.
