My ignition won't turn forward when I put the key in. I've already tried the trick where you turn the key in the "on" position for 10 minutes to reset the Passlock system and it wouldn't work.

Your ignition wont turn forward past the on position. If thats the problem it is not the anti-theft. place the key in the ignition and hold it tight against the start position. Wiggle the steering wheel back and forth. Might work.

If the key turns to the "start" position but you don't hear the starter cranking, you've got to jump the starter. First find the starter and then look at the wires hooked to it. There should be a big fat wire and a small wire. The big one is the power wire which is always on (connected to the positive side of the battery) and the little wire is the switch wire, connected to the ignition barrel. First turn the key to the on position. Then take a short wire and connect the switch wire to the power wire. This will make the starter turn and once the engine starts, pull the wire away. Good luck and be sure to keep away from moving parts of the engine

Sounds like a bad pass-key. Go to the dealer and order a new key. Good luck.

something is amiss in the column.bets option is to find a steering column tech and have him fix it. it could be the ignition switch or the linkage. if u want to try it yourself.
