I am missing the knob part that causes the passenger side seat in my 1997 camaro coupe to fold down. The metal piece is hanging out and i can still use it to fold it down, but it is very sharp and i just need a replacement knob for it but no autopart places have one. Any ideas where to look now?

auto scrap yards get a lot of cameros but you have to be quick at catching them because they are one of the fastest vehicals that the parts get sold out of.... I have one and it's a pain to do but, I enjoy the part of going out there and getting to take the part off myself sometimes for extra charge they will take it off for you if you don't want to get a little dirty.

That piece broke off of my car too. In fact it's a pretty common thing to be missing. I have saw ALOT of cars missing that piece. Go to a Chevrolet dealership and they can order it for you. Thats where I got my new one from. It should be fairly inexpensive. Good Luck.
