Camp David peace accord. That was prez Jimmy Carter. Egyptian president Anwar Sadat was later assassinated in 1981, And during Carter's Administration the Iranis took American hostages at the American embassy in Tehran and held them for 444 days until Ronald Reagan took over. Carter had good intentions but created a mess with American policy in the middle east that still exist today.

Jimmy Carter of course. Without the Camp David accords, one of two things would be true today: 1. We would be involved in, or already have fought, World War III--------2. the State of Israel would no longer exist.

Jimmy Carter hosted talks between Egypt and Israel. That was one of the few things he did that was positive. In his dotage, he has become obviously anti-Semite rather than merely covertly anti-Israel.
