A function problem with a graph. I'll try and explain it best I possibly can.?

Question

y = f(x)

points on the graph
(1,2) open with a line that gradually slopes negative x, y until it reaches (-4, -2) here it flattens out

(4,1) open with a line that extends past the open point both ways. There is a closed point at (-1, -1).


According to the graph, what is

lim f(x)
x=>1^-


I attempted to solve and came up with 1

book answers...

b. 0
c. 1
d. 2

It sounds like it is 2.
As you come in from the left of 1, the graph is approaching 2.
Look at the point (1,2) and what is happening to the immediate left of it.
