sure, first, the honor system doesnt work, so thats why we have state/federal laws for child support. tell your ex that its child support, NOT child trust fund. your child needs things...all the time and theyre needs come first, period.

contact you child support case worker. also if the arrears if is a lot, post their pics on deadbeat sites online.

Gosh.. I have one of those too. I wish I knew the answer. I have filed with our court system. Done most the leg work myself. I can't afford an attorney. I make too much money for legal aid. I am not on welfare so my case is not a priority with our county child support division. So in other words I am screwed. I know there are organizations that help. But usually they get a percentage of what is owed. I would diffidently go to your local child support division file a claim there. Try legal aid.

Some times you have to ignore the ex's behavior and think about the well being of the child. Go and motion the hearing in Family Court. It doesn't matter how they feel, if the law say "pay" they will have to. Point Blank.

you need to get your butt in court and get an order for child support and if you have one then have it enforced. talk to the judge or get a lawyer you don't have to put up with that crap.

Let the state handle it and they will get your money and then he has to pay them instead of you they will transfer the money to you,. They will attach his wages if he doesn't respond or gets 90days behind......if all else fails jailtime....
