does anybody know what grinch used to pull his sleigh

Harry, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is my all time favorite Christmas classic. The sleigh was pulled by Max. Max was the cutest little dog, and the mean old grinch dressed him like a reindeer. The horns were to heavy and so he ended up with just on big one on his head.
Max pulled the sleigh, but he did get to rest some when going down hills. lol But Max, his dog is the answer to your question.

ps. I have been watching the movie for over 40 years...every year, sometimes several times during the Christmas season.

His dog Max. But if I remember my Grinch facts Max was not so great at it. Most of the way down gravity took over.
