I'd say old age because you have to look after yourself and if you don't have the dosh you have to rely on others if there are any relations still around then. When you are young - you have relations and parents to rely on.

Teenage is the most difficult age of all. The teenage think that they know everything but they don't. I was always told this quote: "you can't fool an old fool". It took me a long time to figure that one out, but I did. Old aged people has already been where teenagers are going. The old age people are trying to get to us in many ways like not to make the same mistakes that they have already made. Whatever you do in life Please listen to them because they know what they are talking about!!!

It depends upon many things. How old is old?
Dementia can strike some people whilst in their 50s or 60's and other health problems mean that some poeple get 'old' at a relatively young age.
If you are a younger 'old' person you may have teenagers to care for as well as elderly parents....
Older 'old' people may have health difficulties, suffer the bereavement of those they love dying - maybe going to their children's funerals.
Teenagers on the other hand are easier to define by age - they have raging hormones, peer pressure etc etc.
Overall I think old age is most difficult.

Without doubt teenage. When you're a teenager your'e treated as a child and an adult. Usuall people treat you according to how they want to. For example;
When i was a teenager my mum used to say 'oh grow up will you' and on another day she would say 'your'e only a child so dont question what i say'.
It's a very complicated age and now at the age of 45, i can still remember how difficult it was.

Being a teenager and a senior citizen both has its own pros and cons. A lot of teenagers are faced with peer pressure in this modern era, and don't have the support of a true friend to listen to them.

Old people are very much disrespected by the youngsters of today... and especially if an old person is all by himself/herself without the support of family members and friends, it is an incredibly depressing world to be in, cos a lot of youngsters deem old people as useless, and that is not right. It takes so much courage to be old.

Of the two, I would say being old is without doubt much more dificult than being a teenager.

From who's viewpoint? I don't think any age is more difficult than any other. Teenagers don't have to be moody (my daughter isn't and never has been, she's 15). Old people don't have to be a problem, and most of them aren't.

The best age to be is the age you are NOW.
Enjoy the benefits and do not fret too much about the difficulies.

PS An elderly lady once commented "The children are at that awkward age....between 3 months and 35!!"

So enjoy NOW

Old age is harder, you are helpless and depend on your children and hope they love you enough to take care of you. You don't get any better, you just keep going down hill. Teen age years are difficult while going through them but then we look back and realize that the main problems we had were those that we created for ourselves. Those can be fixed and can get better.
