It is our celebration of our own white culture as supreme over any and other. We do not understand nor wish to understand other cultures, particularly if they are populated by brown-skinned people who do not worship Jesus. After robbing this country from the Native Americans, the US became a beacon for diverse cultures but the Statue of Liberty welcoming immigrants is a sham because we do not really want diversity. We want people to come here and immediately forget their own culture and religions and languages and become us. When other nations realize we have so little respect for anything or anyone different from us they understand we are dismissing them as inconsequential.

It is amazing that a country comprised of such widely diverse peoples cannot elect leaders who will help us celebrate such.

Certainly your freedom of democracy is not the reason!!

It is your foreign policy. Just check out the situation in Iraq.

You have this bad habit of trying to turn certain political parties and/or people into being the governments in other countries, people that you believe will serve USA. These people are dictators in many cases and do no good to their own countries, but they do good to USA because the latter supports them.

Because its cool. Its a way to fit in to the group. I am sure it is also the policy of GW Bush and the war in Iraq
If someone like Hilary Clinton is elected maybe half of the world might like us little Personally I would rather be hated

Name some countries of importance that hate us that didn't always hate us. If we are as evil as the media claims, why isn't there a mass exodus? Why does the U.S. continue to grow and prosper at a record rate? Why do we have so many immigrants? I don't mind being hated by envious people or countries, I love it!

I wish we would stop "Interfering" with everybody else, since everybody seems to hate us. Can you imagine how much more money we would have in our coffers if we did not "interfere" with all these countries by coming to their aid when they have had catastrophes? Problem is is they would find some other reason to hate us.

they're all just jealous because our president is so intelligent and well spoken...lol

also, we're always invading someone, nobody specified that the US was supposed to be the world police. I think the War on Terrorism was Bush's way of trying to compensate for his "shortcomings"

No ... it's you're foreign policies! Interfering with other nations for the benefit of the US government. You're being viewed as the forceful and controlling Big-Brother that no one wants.
