To me they are very well balanced, good starting lineup and a good bench, in all positions.

ok, all they need to do is play how they have been playing....

smush parker- smush parker is a great player who seems to get intimitated a lot, and last year in the playoffs he seemed almost nervous, something I have never seen a NBA player be before, so he needs to believe in himself and hit those big three pointers, He also needs to make good positions and few turnovers, he's been doing a great job at that this year.

kobe bryant- the thing i've noticed about kobe bryant is when he is hot the team is hot, for example when he scored 30 points in the third quarter, the fourth quarter EVERYONE ON THE TEAM was hittin threes like crazy!!! kobe needs to either score 50 points, or score 30 with like 8 assists, also the thing he has been doing this year is not take as many shots, which is good, but he needs to score at least 25 a game. withought going under 40% from the field
oh and by the way notice EVERY time kobe attacks the basket good things happen (either a score or assist) I dont know why he doest penetrate every time, i would

luke walton- the small forward position is a weak spot for the lakers, although iI like luke a lot he is unexperienced at times, He is a great passer and shooter but he isnt as consistent as he should be, like it or not luke needs to be the third highest scorer in my opinion, racking in about 15 a game. He also needs to rebound more.

lamar odom- great player, doing what he needs to be doing this year, gets in about 15 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists those are GREAT numbers!!! he is kobes pippen and a very important asset to the lakers. Only thing he needs to do is stop shooting jump shots!!! he is a great penetrator!!

kwamme brown- LET BYNUM START!! kwame is a great defender but a horrible player on offense, also i think phil is trying to play him like shaq and he is no where NEAR shaq... he needs to sit back on offense and set screens. then on defense let him do his thing, but bynum would be a better starter

Andrew Bynum- he has GREAT days and he has bad days, he definitely shows potential to be the next kareem, he got a great hook shot, can rebound like crazy, and can block like crazy, great on the offensive and defensive end, they need to start this guy, i dont care that he's only 19, he is the future!!!

Jordan Farmar- right now is very inconsistent, is very quick and a great passer, has the makings of a great point guard, in 5 years the lakers dynasty will be Farmar, Walton, and Bynum. you can quote me if you want.'

Maurice Evans- a great athlete and I think he could be the lakers 6th man, he needs to try harder and take more shots, he makes em.

Brian cook- what ever happened to cookie? does he still play? never see him on the court anymore, he's a great three point shooter and defender, he needs to play more.

Ronny Turiaf- you gotta love this guy, probably has the biggest heart in the game (literally, he does) even though he had heart surgery he still is very active and a great team spirit, a great defender and rebounder, an EXCELLENT hustler. to bad he has to come in behind Bynum and Kwamme

Sasha Vujacic- seems to be getting worse every year, has potential to be a good shooter, needs to step it up

Team Plan- give to kobe, let him penetrate, 99.9% chance he scores, gets fouled, or penetrates out for open three. Next time you watch a laker game watch when kobe penetrates, it never fails.

hope this helps

The Lakers have some techniques and a few issues looking good for them. First Bynum would be back next 365 days and he's going to clog up the midsection, not greater Pierce gimme's. they are in a position to in all likelihood sign Artest and commerce Odom for couple good bench gamers. seem at this lineup: Kobe Fisher Bynum Gasol Artest 2 super defenders, a very good element look after, and good midsection and a very good skill forward. they are going to have offense AND protection.

They need 1 or 2 more very good players. They have 1 1/2 good players. Theyll end up like an 8 seed where they should be. They don't posses the players.

They need to get Allen Iverson via trade. The lakers can trade anyone but Kobe Bryant. That combo would be better that Jordan-Pippen.

Ha!

You're smoking crack if you think the lakers are going to win.
They'd have to past Detroit, and we both know that isn't going to happen.
