Window tinting law in Virginia?

Im trying to get tints put on my window and have been trying to find what the law is around here.Tried surfing the web but nothing really helped.Can some tell me please?

i know in ny the police have a gauge that checks the darkness of the tint..call your local police and ask them about whats allowed

If they can't see you through it then you can get a ticket
