I was searching for this on yahoo answers and Yahoo but no one has said anything. For the past two days google has been down for me, gmail, several other large sites. Like only half the internet is down. And its not just me, no one I know has been able to reach these sites. Anyone know whats going on and why I haven't heard any press about it?

that is VERY strange. I will try a few other systems and see, but I clean my system of viruses and errors everyday. I have 4 computers on the network, and all my friends are experiencing the same issues. Moviefone doesn't work, several key sites. I will run another sweep and see if i can pick somethign up.

I haven't heard anything about it either. I've been having trouble with it myself. It took me fifteen minutes just to get here. Oh, what is this world coming to? This is serious inconvenience. There ought to be a law.....

It's not likely that half the net is down. It is more than likely your ISP or a virus that is on your computer. You may try running a virus scan for trojan horses and other spyware or contact your ISP to see if there is a sevice outage in your area.

I don't have any problem with Google searches, or the Google toolbar, or gmail. You may have either spyware, a trojan, worm or virus. Run your spyware (I assume you have some), and see if you don't have some other problem.

Check with your Internet Service Provider, the net hasn't been down recently...
