meaning, does your husband kiss or hug you throughout the day, or does he go straight to the television and ask for food?

Well I like to consider myself an affectionate husband to my wife, I hug and kiss her, and compliment her and tell her everyday what I appriciate about her.
I also consider my wife an affectionate wife. She gves me hugs and kisses, she like to playfully tickle me, and tells me what she appricates about me as well.

My husband is affectionate! He loves me and takes care of our daughter and I. I'm not pampared we both respect each other and give each other space when need! (or at least I try to, but I'm also a woman) We kiss and hug each other everyday through out the day! He's a good man!

Both. He holds my hand and hugs me and kisses me (especially now that he quit chewing tobacco). He spends a lot of time on the couch (too much). He doesn't ask for food, just that I come cuddle with him. But then I feel like I'm being an enabler to his tv addiction. If you go along with the lack of affection and bring him the food so he can continue to ignore you, then YOU are enabling him to do that. Use tough love to get the relationship you want from him.

She's not only jealous, but it hurts and makes her feel bad. She knows too well what she lives with. It's a good choice to stay away from that topic with her, because she could feel that your rubbing her nose in it. If she asks for help or encouragement, be there for her within reason. It's totally refreshing to see a woman who places a Loving husband ahead of her female friends. Me! :- )

He kisses me and hug me throughout the day on most days, but if I bring him food, he worship me, lol.
