I would not just say guys, Because I have found a lot of women to be like that too but I know what you are saying. It is almost like the person has to be real real cute or real hot for them to go out with them or they do not take a second look at ya. Then they go for personality after they get past your looks, if you are lucky.

Because if your in a bar your going to go for the most attractive women. I'm sure most lads once they've got talking to a girl will like her if shes got a Good personality

Well I would say it's the same for both like others have said. People look each other up and down and I think it's terrible. After all it's what personality, love and speech that is the main thing. :)

I think that it is because it is the first thing they see. When A guy see's something he likes, he's probably going to go after it. What you have to do Is show him that there is more to you than your looks. Once you show him that you're an awesome person, he will fall for you, not your looks.

its the same with lasses as well. i have been told i have the best personality by far out of my mates but because im not tall and as good looking as them im always left single

ive found this, some guys are soo shallow. Just because a girl isn't pretty, doesn't mean they don't havea great peronality!

everyone is like that! i bet even you are! most people get together
because someone is cute or hot and THEN comes the personalitty. it isn't just boys that do it, girls too.
