I hope to go around the Vendee region and would like a camping site for mobilehome which has childrens club, entertainment etc and isnt too expensive does such a place exist? thanks

holidayed in the vendee charente region myself this year but stayed in a farmhouse there are plenty of campsites mind. you must visit cognac and la rochelle

Most campsites in France are excellent and have kids clubs in them. You should look at a brochure though and be sure of what's included in the price. Some services like baby cots need to be booked when booking holiday and not on site.

You will find plenty of things to do in the Vendee. The coast area round La Rochelle has a good range of campsites

Alan Rogers camping guide will show you the good ones,then look about at the others in your chosen area,look at some of the smaller ones.
St Jean de Monts is lovely, beach is long & sandy.Loads of campsites.

Languedoc-Rousillion area is best.
Particularly Nimes, Collioure,
Good day visits are Narbonne, Montpellier and Carcassonne
Avoid Perpignan and Arles (unless you like Van Gogh)

every town no matter how small has a camp site, as for the children take them into the town they will love it, but towns shut between 1.00pm and 4.pm
