After googling about looking for what happened to Brookside Close, I didn't come up with much, so I wondered if anyone knows what happened after the series finished? I know it wasn't REALLY turned into an incinerator! I always knew that Brookside was a real a cul-de-sac on a 1980's built West Derby housing estate, which Phil Redmond bought in 1982, are there real people living in them now? Is it now an ordinary residential close?

Phil Redmond bought the original nine houses in Brookside Close for £25,000 each. The buildings were put up for sale to the public in July 2005 and fetched around £250,000 each.
