This could be one of two things. One is water hammer cause by the faucet or appliance being turned on or off very quickly. This is easily corrected by the installation of water hammer arresters, (purchase 2 at your local plumbing supply store), installed anywhere your supply lines are accessible but they work best at the furthest point of your supply lines.
Second cause of this problem is with the use of two different types of supply lines. If you use copper and switch at some point to a plastic line, this causes a squealing noise and cannot be fixed without changing the piping to ensure it is all the same.

Is it a cold water pipe getting hot? If so, it is because it is expanding a bit while the water is flowing through and heating up. If it is a cold water pipe only...and makes noise as water is going through...it's cuz there is air in the pipeline. hope this helps.

Possibly a build up of sediment on the inside of the pipes, or an air block. I had a tap I could actually play musical tunes on, by adjusting the tap flow. But the neighbour complained, so that put an end to my pipe music, it became just a pipe dream.

it depends, is the noise a ping, or a screech.
if it is a ping, the pipes may be loose in the wall, if they are older pipes in an older house, when a plumber puts the pipes in nowadays the put a riser above the cold water pipe to keep it from screeching, I'm no expert, but I think this may bethe case with your pipes no riser would cause the screeching noise

It vibrates because the water pressure is too high, or the cold water pipe has not been clipped down properly.

Possible air lock that makes the pipes vibrate and rattle against the other pipes.

either vibration, because the pipe has insufficient clips on it or air entrapment.
