YES!!!! I am sorry for all Phillies fans, but he was a bad decision.

A. he got way more money then he deserved. He went 7-12 with the rangers last year with a 5+ ERA. He has a career ERA of 4.4, which is very high.

B. He is very injury prone, just last season had to undergo surgery which allowed him the fewest innings of his career

This will come back to haunt the Phillies.

it was a great pick up for the phillies. phillies need pitching badly!! they keep going for offense which is great but you cant win games without pitching. and adding him to the starting rotation will do the phillies well. they have already lost wolf who they wanted to keep but lost because wolf wanted to go back home. eaton is going to be a great help for the phillies, we need pitching and we need pitching badly

He will be a solid pitcher for them, is just that they overpayed for him, but is not a big deal only by 2 or 3 million. But I personnally think that he has something in him.
