When I was in Korea I saw many posters for missing pets. Eating dog there is a delicacy, not a norm. So I would say yes put up a poster.

I left my dog with the doorman at a Korean restaurant, Gave him 5 bucks and asked him to walk my dog. He mis understood and wokked my dog.
