My nine year old stepdaughter was taken recently from my fiance and I to go back home to her mother. The situation was blown way out of porpotion (because his ex can't stand me though she could never tell me why) and basically his ex apologized to my fiance and said their daughter was not coming back here for awhile but at the same time I'm at a lost because my stepdaughter and I became very close and now I don't get to see her and her mother won't let her talk to me because she says she needs time apart from us. Though child support Is still being taken out (and we were paying It while his daughter was living here for seven months) should we say something or just give her some space. I know for sure that his ex didn't want her daughter In the first place but because she came over here like super woman and blew up over nothing now she has to take her daughter. It just seems to me that we are giving his ex whatever she wants.

Thanks for helping me through this again everybody!!

I know it's difficult to take, but the Mom may have thought SHE was losing her daughter. Not that she would never get her back, but, that her daughter may have bonded with you quite a bit more than anticipated. Kudos to you for being such a great step Mom! Give this time. I don't think it will ever get any better though. Especially if the daughter gets some intelligence and starts using you against her. I know that sounds terrible but it ALWAYS seems to happen. When you get the chance to have her back, please, please, don't bring this "blown out of proportion" situation up! Just be yourself again.

Child Support and visitation are seperate matters. One doesn't depend on the other. If your fiance is not seeing his daughter, it doesn't void the child support order.

Why is your fiance giving her so much power? He can take her to court and get custody, he can even ask for an emergency custody order. Prove that she was with you for all these months and that the mother took her out suddenly. This show instability.

Is there a visitation order? She cannot legally keep the child from hyou.

Um, I advise they discover mom and father who care and ought to take more advantageous suited care of the toddler. perhaps your mom and father might want to take the toddler for awhile. that couldn't a good difficulty and doesn't sound like its going to get any more advantageous suited. i experience undesirable for that toddler! i'm confident once more advantageous human beings commence to word the ambience and how the toddler is being dealt with, they are going to call social amenities. I have 2 pals who only had a toddler it truly is about 3 months previous. I run into the mummy and father virtually everytime i bypass to the bar and when I stress previous the bar at 1PM, their vehicles are outdoors of it. they're alcoholics! The dad takes the toddler for walks and tells me that he receives a case of beer and places it interior the cooler lower than the stroller and finishes it previously he receives residing house with the toddler. they have already taken the toddler into the bar and sit down on the bar and take photos even as conserving this element... this is terrible and no human being did some thing about it till in the destiny, someone ultimately did. Social amenities were suggested as and that toddler replaced into taken away. Thank god!

Have yo u looked to see if his testicles are still attached? Does she know where he hid the bodies? I really don't get it. I don't think you are asking the right questions here. If you are set on giving up you can take up knitting to pass the time.

she can take her daughter back and unless the court revoke visitations she can not hold her back from seeing her father. but my best advice is to go back to court after the holidays let the child have a peaceful Christmas.
