The original "Psycho" by Alfred Hitchcock was the best, inspired by real life serial killer Ed Gein. Another good film was a TV movie called "To Catch A Killer", which was an account on the capture of John Wayne Gacy, the "killer clown".

YES!!! It mixed humor in, I loved that. In the scene where he kills Paul Allen (Owen) (Different last name in the book than the movie) Patrick is just literally dancing in anticipation. Silence of the Lambs was also incredible as is Hannibal.
