First, Wicca is a religion, Witchcraft is an Art or a Science (depending on your preception of it). If you are interested in either, there are several good online sources including Yahoo groups. I'll post a few links below. For books on either subject try:

Hope that helps. :)

First: it is important to be convinced that reincarnation is a truth. Read Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian L. Weiss. Once you understand that as a fact, continue to read other books. Another must read is: Book of Shadows: A Modern Woman's Journey into the Wisdom of Witchcraft and the Magic of the Goddess by Phyllis Curott. Also pick up a book called: You Are Psychic! by Pete A. Jr Sanders.

Read any book written by these authors: by Scott Cunningham, Ann Moura, Fiona Horne, Llewellyn, Silver RavenWolf, and Elisabeth Brooke, to mention a few.

Just like learning any other art, you first need to study and learn how it works, and learn the basics. Study, study, study. This is a wonderful art that you will never learn everything.

Visualization is a very important skill to learn. Start off by placing a ball or cup on a table and take a real good look at it, then close your eyes and see it in your mind. See how long you can hold that image. Once you can hold that image for 5 minutes, find something with more details, like the front of a CD. After a while of getting good at that, watch yourself put 4 different simple objects on the table.Visualize them. Now, in your mind (don't touch anything) imagine yourself taking your hand and move the items around. With a little creativity, you can figure out how to do these exercises anywhere. If your at school and your done with a test and have to sit quietly, look at your pencil or pen sitting on your desk. Close your eyes and "see" it in your mind. When I was younger, when I was walking forward on a street with no curb in front of me, I would take a mental picture in my mind and close my eyes of a second and watch the ground in my mind while walking. It was hard to do.

Good luck on your journey.

Well, Wicca is not witchcraft. Many use these terms interchangebly, but they are different. Not all Wiccans are witches and not all Witches are wiccan. Wicca is a religion that incorporates some aspects of witchcraft. There are many good books on these subjects, however I believe that personal teaching is the best way. Perusing amazon.com can give you some good ideas about the many books on Wicca and witchcraft.

is a great site that can help you find people in your area that may offer teaching and/or events that are open to newcomers, as well as lots of other info.

I do believe in it, but you have to start with the basics, and that's not spells and rituals, but looking within yourself.
The best start in my view is to start analysing your feelings of fear and anger, your desire to influence people/events you feel you have no control over otherwise, and what this tells you about Yourself.

Sounds like psychology? It is, but a lot of what is called "witchcraft" is just that. Control starts at the self, that is the most important thing to know.

Another important thing is the interaction between yourself and the spirits of the place you live in, a lot of people can feel the tensions, but don't know what they are, or what to do about them.
You have to experiment, spirits seem to have different tastes, same as people.

I cant' really give you a more specific answer without knowing you and your circumstance, and I think nobody could.

In Asian folklore there are three symbols of power, the sword, the juwel and the mirror, sword is for (brute) strength, juwel for riches, but the mightiest is the mirror - self reflection.

WISHcraft is just the ability of the spirit that is in everyone! It can be used for
ill, or good. And the Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
"Magic" has to be very specific. You can wish for money and Granny will
"kick the bucket" and leave you some money! See what I'm saying?
I read you can bounce evil back on people by saying "Return ALL evil to
it's sender." But I also learned our Loved ones can get mad at us and
attack us on a spiritul level, without realizing it. So wishing ALL evil
back on people could give your Momma a heart attack! See what I'm
saying?
Don't be a chicken, but don't be a chump neither!

first witchcraft is a open saying taking in all unorthadox religen, so it depends on what particular brand of witchcraft your wanting to practice(i my self practice a twisted form of satanic necromancy)but the first step is to know yourself and you abitlitys befor you eaven think about trying and "spells" or anything of that nature,my second segestion whold be to do some resurch on the internet and decide what particular brand of witchcraft you want to practic, thirdly id get a few books and read them dont try to do anything tell youve read a few and get to know the belifes and systems that particular religion belives in and see if they go along with your belifes (you dont wanna use magic just so you can make srure its a belife system you can agree with )and last but not least dont talk about your belifes too openly some pep will freak out and stuff like that when you try to have a conversation about your religen (imagen try to tell some one your a stanic necromancer whan you meet them)

If you wanna learn Witchcraft, Paul Hudson's Mastering Witchcraft is a good start IMO. You don't have to believe in a God and Goddess if you don't want to; that's Wicca and shouldn't be confused with Witchcraft.

yes i believe in witch craft although so far i have left it alone and instead practice divination; there are Wicca stores both online and in cities you could buy a beginners book to witchcraft from that or if you don't have much money try borrowing from your local library
