when people say those phrases like 'N word' and 'C word'

it always makes me end up thinking of the word they are too afraid to say publicly anyway.

so why do people do this ?

Most people that talk in this way would not say the C word or the N word (what ever that is) in public and feel the same discomfort at saying it even as a third person referral to the word. In short they are being polite and trying not to offend others. I think this is an admirable way of thinking and wish that some of the people on answers would think in the same way. As an aside to this wouldn't it be nice if there was no swearing in films and TV programmes as in the past. After all there are many good programmes on TV where swearing could be put in but it isn't because of the 9pm watershed. In no way does that detract from the story.
Have a happy and blessed Christmas.

I'm not afraid to say any of those words to someones face publicly or whatever. Niggerr...Cracker! Besides cracker is not as nearly as bad as saying niggerr to a black person! You all are just looking for an excuse to say that your a victim of racism......please I laugh at that. Crackers will never be a victim of racism! But I am not a rascist even though it comes off that way because I have many cool white friends but the only time I'll call a white person a cracker is if and whe nthey call me a niggerr. Other than that I won't really call someone that and mean it.

C word with the help of far. in maximum activities the N word is used as an excuse to pull the race card, it relatively is pitiful, regardless of its established use. i believe the race card is overly used to justify the habit of monkeys. no longer in all activities yet i've got seen it a nil.5 dozen circumstances. the two are disgusting however the C word certainly holds extra skill.

Because they don't like using the word itself, so they think it's better this way, and because it hasn't been said no law has been broken, if you was to use the N word in a place of work you could end up with the sack, so using this way is safer, why there would be a reason to use it anyway is another matter

C word for me is Country as in Country & Western. Awful. Yuk. The F word is of course Fusion - that dull inbred cousin of acid jazz - same reaction. I would not touch the N word with a 50 foot barge pole. Those who do are Cs who can go F themselves.

Its true, if someone says "the N-word" while they are talking I automatically think Nigerr anyway.

its just in your head. and if you don't associate it with that you won't know what it means anyway,

so why bother having such a stupid saying as the "N-word" in the first place?? ??

What the hell are you on about, the n and c word.
They bear no meaning to me apart from rude words at all so i think that they must mean that when said.
