When will they start making sense? My temps range from 95 degrees to 97 degrees and I still haven't ovulated yet (I don't think due to changes in CM)... very confusing!

Mine have been that way too. I found two issues that contributed to my problem.

One, my thermometer - I was using a regular old (fast read) fever thermometer. I think the speed was part of the problem (as though it kind of jumped up a bit, and stopped at the 10 second point). But they are also not designed to be as accurate as BBT thermometers.

Two, my alertness level for the 3 hours prior to temping. I have two young'uns who often wake up in the wee hours of the morning. Due to my hubby's schedule I had been jumping out of bed to get them quieted down before he noticed. If I did this within 3 hours of temping, it was almost always much higher than the day before. Also, if I woke up before the "right" time, I'd often either just lay there, or flop around trying to get back to sleep, and I am pretty sure that altered my temps too.
We have been trying to stop this and let the girls get themselves back to bed this month, and so far, my numbers are MUCH more aligned.

I hope that helps a little. :)

Best of Luck to you!

besides the shown fact that there is an evident shift in my temps once I ovulate my temps do selection from month to month and that i've got not got any set trend in any respect. I even have extremely a protracted luteal section oftentimes lasting 17 days so i would be searching for best temps way previous 18 dpo to verify my being pregnant!

A more reliable and less cumbersome method of charting is now available. It's called Billings Method. I refer you the book: Love & Life (Billings Method of Natural Family Planning) by Leonie McSweeney. If you can't get it I can get it for you on your request. Thanks
