This probably isn't the answer you're looking for - but it depends on who is telling the story. Long before Snow White ever saw print, it was a story that was handed down from generation to generation orally. Each story teller gave it her or his own embellishment, and the length of time varied. Sometimes it was as short as a few months, sometimes twenty years or more.

You got the link so I'll tell you what happened after she married the Prince. He expected her to wait on him hand and foot. She told him that she had seven short guys who were crazy about her and waited on her hand and foot and that she wanted the marriage annulled.
