My kindergarten teacher used to do it, then he'd stick his feet up on his desk and slyly try to wipe his booger onto the sole of his shoe.

No. But my 5th grade teacher made a capital deal over yawning without covering your mouth. You would have thought someone were about to be exposed to something. Teaching manners is one thing, but this lady was just bizarre. One example of weird, and there was no smile or laugh when she said it: She had one son. She and her husband bought several toys for him and introduced him to one toy at a time--that way he'd always have something new to play with. I understand the philosophy, but, in the words of Charlie Brown, "Good grief!".
