Hi Mink,
It is because girls tend to be more spiteful and quite frankly down right meaner than boys. I have a twenty four year old son who was very poplular in highschool. so, I had a whole lot of teenagers around the house. Girls and guys. The guys just seemed to get along a whole lot better then the girls. They didn't seem to be as easily angered and spiteful over seemingly insignificant things as the girls.
the biggest problem I had with the guys was that if they ever did get really mad at each other they ended up in fist fights. It's really hard on the house and the furniture when you have two 200 pound guys "dukeing" it out in the living room.
so, there's the answer to your question, girls are just more spiteful than guys.

Yes, I have seen that a lot in younger girls. I have 2 nieces and I have heard them laugh and make fun of people. Their parents both work and do not spend much time with them. I believe they are partly responsible if not wholly. They don't seem to be taught any respect anymore.

Boys are taught not to reveal their emotions because it is a sign of weakness, laugh or cry, it does not matter, but girls are taught to let the emotions flow freely, so they do not care if anyone thinks they are weak for crying or childish for laughing.

I think it is true but only because guys do stuff and girls mostly just talk which leads to laughing.

Women are allowed to express themselves more than men. Men are
supposed to be tuff! If they realized men are just as much victims of
society's programming that they are, maybe they wouldn't critcize us
so much. And men and women could have better understanding!
