The basic answer is yes but as always there is a "However".

Microsoft anti-spyware programme can cause conflicts and as it isn't very good anyway I wouldn't bother.

The newest free one on the market is AVG's which seemed to find a lot more rubbish than S&D and they work fine in tandem. Spybot and Adaware say they don't like each other but I have found no problems.

The one thing you do NOT want are 2 anti-virus programmes as these always seem to conflict, it is better to use a net based anti-virus checker, I use activescan from Pandasoftware.

I guess it should be fine.

Spybot Search and Destroy do not have real time protection, it should not try to kill the other anti-spyware.

But I can't say about the other spyware. They might kill the Spybot Search and Destory.

Normally, we do not recommend to use more than 2 similar software on the same computer, to avoid crashes.

I use 2 anti spyware programs which are Windows Defender and AVG Anti Spyware. I have been using them WD for about 3 months now and AVG AS for about one and a half month. So far there is no conflicts.

Yes you can. Spybot is not a monitoring tool, like many anti virus packages - it is only active when you select a scan. Running two anti virus packages together can damage your PC because they actively monitor your file system as long as the PC is switched on. I have a number of spyware and adware tools that I run - but never scan simultaneously.

You can use Ad-Aware. It's also spyware, but looks for and finds different objects from SpyBot. I run both, and have for years.

Yes, I do. But it's probably best not to use the Resident along with the other spyware program as it will just use more system resources than are necessary.

Sure, Spyware Terminator, Ad-Aware S.E. Edition and SpywareBlaster (a blocker rather than a hunter) I run them all no problem.

Yes, but one spyware must NOT automatically check, it might not come out with good results.
