True male cystitis isn't very common. There is often an underlying cause for the condition, such as: Prostatitis, kidney stones, STDs, or even serious stuff like bladder cancer. So the best treatment for it is to find out what is causing it.

Cystitis is the same in a man or a woman. I had recurrent infections for four years before I discovered Cranberry supplements and probiotics. There is a particular acid in cranberries that prevents bacteria sticking to your bladder wall, and a good probiotic will flood your system with good bacteria, which will help fight infection.
Things like kyolic garlic, colloidal silver and the like would be good too, as they are anti-biotic, anti-microbial, anti-everything bad.
You can get these things from a good chemist or health food store.

It is the same for a man or a woman. You need to go to the doctor and have them give you an antibiotic. More than likey they will give you a sulfa drug. This is a problem you really need to get taken care of because it can spread up you urinary tract to your kidneys. In addition to your antibiotic you need to drink acidic juices like canberry to get your urine more acidic and drink lots of water to clean out your urinary tract. Once your infection is gone you need to remember to drink lots of water and empty your bladder frequently the bacteria like to live in old urine.
