Black Metal, Death Metal, Industrial, Funeral Doom, Folk/Viking Metal, Classical (especially cello, violin, and piano), occasionally Goth and Goth Metal. I try not to limit myself to genres though because I feel if you limit yourself to one style of music you're basically shutting off all of those other emotions and denying your humanity.

Well, I grew up on Motown oldies and there is a special place in my heart for them. I also grew up on classic rock and some country from my dad, but they never really connected for me.

I went deaf when I was 18 and it was absolutely devastating because I wanted to be a record producer! I can hear some thing with a hearing aid, which is great, but I can't understand lyrics anymore. Mostly I'm stuck with pre-1995 as my music of choice because I already know those songs. I used to listen to a lot of rap, but not anymore. So now I listen to the type of R&B referred to as New Jack Swing (mid 90's, like Jodeci, etc.) and jazz.

I love experimental melodic electronic music. My favourite being Kraftwerk. My fave DJs for this type of stuff are a pair of guys from Germany called Tiefschwarz. I really love pumping good quality house and techno (good funky basslines, not too heavy though). My other favourites include Jeff Mills, Matthew Jonson, Alex Smoke and Dave Mothersole. I also love classical and jazz when I want to chill out or wind down. I can't stand commercial cheesy dance or any fake manufactured pop groups and R&B pretty much sucks.

It all depends on the mood, at the moment I'm listening to Lene Lovich, but I like everything from Classical to Heavy Metal. My favourite artist is Kirsty MacColl, her album "Tropical Brainstorm" is brilliant!
